Bollywood movie ‘OMG: Oh My God’
was released on last Friday without much buzz. Although collections
were dull on first day, movie picked up from second day because of
tremendous positive mouth talk. The film so far raked Rs. 35 crores and
is all set for a smash hit. Many of our South producers are trying to
acquire the remake rights for their respective languages and Koneru
Kiran is heard to have bought the Telugu rights. He is now wishing to
rope top heroes for the lead roles.
The source adds, Pawan Kalyan and Ravi
Teja may reprise Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal respectively while Harish
Shankar may direct this remake version. However official confirmation
is awaited.
Oh My God is a satirical-comedy-drama
which throws fun on organized religions is directed by Umesh Shukla,
produced by Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. The movie is based on a
Gujarati play called Kanji Virudh (vs) Kanji.
Many star heroes are showing interest in multi-starrers and if
everything goes well Pawan may team up with Ravi Teja for this remake.
Surely, OMG is a perfect entertainer and a sure shot winner but not
worthy to be made with star heroes.
